Hey everyone! Chelsea back from Chelsea’s Messy Apron. ๐Ÿ™‚ When the weather heats up Iย live for icy cold beverages and delicious ice cream treats.

Flavored lemonades are my family’s favorite drinks so we have them all summer long — strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, and mango lemonades are constantly being made around my home.

My husband’sย favorite is blueberry lemonade and this recipe has a fun twist — it’s got sparkling waterย added in.

Most flavored lemonades add in water which is also delicious, but this one has sparkling water giving it a little extra something fun.

Easy Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade

Easy Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade is quick to make and a delicious and refreshing drink for the summer!

  • 1 Blender

Ingredients 

Instructions 

  • Combine โ…” cup granulated sugar, โ…” cup water, 1 ยฝ cups blueberries, and 1 tablespoon lemon zest in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries begin to burst.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and press the blueberry syrup through a fine mesh sieve. Set aside the strained blueberry syrup to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, add the blueberry syrup, 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice,, and 2 cups ice cubes to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Stir in 3 cups sparkling water,, pour into glasses, and serve immediately.
